🚀 Release Notes 5.2.13 - Release dedicated to maintenance and bug fixes

Coming October 11th! This release marks our third dedicated maintenance and bug fix release, which will occur for releases with odd numbered releases (ex: 5.2.11). This update resolves a wide range of issues across intake forms, workflow tasks, documents, and more—delivering increased reliability and consistency throughout the GivingData platform.

🐛 Notable Bug Fixes

Each release includes bug fixes to enhance stability and improve your experience. Here are some key fixes:

  • Grantee Portal Intake Forms: Responses to questions that used the checkbox question type displayed different values (yes/no vs. true/false) in the View Application modal and in the Grantee Portal when viewing a submitted form. This behavior has been updated to maintain consistency across the form responses for checkbox fields. If the user does not select the checkbox, the response will be blank. If the user selects the checkbox, the response will be “Yes.” If the user selects the checkbox, then de-selects the checkbox, the response will be “No.”
  • Grantee Portal Intake Forms: Changes made to custom field drop down options were not reflected in the intake form that included this custom field. This has been resolved.
  • Grantee Portal Forms: For a Single File field type within the form, a change was made that required a template file to be uploaded. This requirement has been removed.
  • Super Search: When the Organization Notes column is added to Super Search results, hyperlinks within the notes field were not clickable from the results list. This has been resolved.
  • Super Search: When using Super Search Chart View and grouping by a code that tracks percentages, only the primary assignment was reflected in the chart. Now all assignments, primary and secondary, will be reflected in the chart if tracking percentages is enabled for the code.
  • Workflows– Tasks: The Request ID was no longer displayed on the task modal. The Request ID has been restored to be next to the Request Title.
  • Workflows: An issue was preventing payment workflow types from being added when a batch change occurred or when a manual update of a status should add a workflow. This has been resolved.
  • Workflows: When a Workflow template is deleted from the settings, the workflows that had been created from the template no longer were visible in the Incomplete Workflow Dashboard. This has been resolved.
  • Workflows: When a Workflow was added to a record in batch, the document template defined in the Workflow Template settings to be created when a task was added was not generated. This has been resolved.
  • Documents– Downloads: When downloading documents from the Documents tabs within GivingData, clients using the GivingData Cloud document storage experienced a long document identifier ID being added to their downloaded document titles. This has been resolved.
  • Documents– List Views: When viewing document lists, the column widths were too wide and the columns no longer wrapped the text to the next line. This has been resolved.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation Assessments: The Assessment Period Labels were not automatically updating when the Assessment Period Length changed. Now when the Assessment Period Length changes, it will dynamically change the Period Labels to be either Years or Periods depending on the length.
  • Contacts: When a Contact’s role has ended, the contact will still be active at the Organization level until it has been marked as inactive. Now when editing Contact Organization Roles, users have the option to edit the Contact’s status at the organization from the same modal.
  • External Reviewer: When using the Review Comparison, question responses that included decimal points were not displaying properly in the comparison. This has been resolved.
