Creating Mapped Code Fields in the Grantee Portal

Grantee Portal intake forms can include code fields that map to GivingData.

Intake forms created in the Grantee Portal can include codes from the database. Grantees can select code values, and the foundation can map their answers directly to the database.

When adding codes to an intake form, codes must be added to the default page type in the intake form. All codes in the database are available for mapping.  

When editing the intake form, click on “Manage Codes” in the upper right.  In the example below, five codes have already been mapped to the Portal.

Users can select which codes are available for the grantee to select from by clicking on the pencil icon under "Manage".Screen Shot 2021-03-24 at 11.47.13 AM

Select “Editable Codes.”

Fill out how the code field should be labeled, the minimum code selections required, and the maximum code selections allowed. Then click Save.
