When experiencing site slowness that doesn't resolve with troubleshooting, users should take screenshots and submit them via a support ticket.
In Google Chrome:
- In the Chrome browser menu, select “View,” “Developer,” then “JavaScript Console.” The console will appear at the bottom or side of your browser window.
- Click twice on “Time” in the console (indicated in the screenshot below) to sort the time entries by descending order.
- Perform the steps in GivingData which typically cause or coincide with the slowness/performance issues.
- Once the slowness has occurred, you should see a longer time entry in the first line of the console.
- Take a screenshot of the entire browser window, including the console.

Submitting Screenshots
After taking screenshots, submit the screenshots with a description of what is occurring in a Support ticket. This can be done by emailing support@givingdata.com or clicking "Submit a Support Ticket" at the bottom of the GivingData site.
