When upgrading to version 5.0, users using the Outlook Add-In will need to un-install the previous version of the add-in before downloading a new manifest and following the install instructions again.
From the web app:
- Log in to your mailbox using http://outlook.office.com.
- Click on any email in your inbox.
- Click the “...” that appears in the top right-hand corner of the email (it should say “More actions" when you mouse over it).
- Click “Get Add-ins”.
- Click “My add-ins”.
- Under “Custom add-ins”, click the three dots on the existing GivingData Add-In, and select "Remove".
From the desktop app:
- Open the Outlook desktop app.
- Click the “Get Add-ins” button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- Click “My add-ins”.
- Under “Custom add-ins”, click the three dots on the existing GivingData Add-In, and select "Remove".
*Please note that Outlook for Mac is currently not supported in GivingData version 5.0 due to a Microsoft bug. Please use the web app instead until this issue is resolved.
Next, download a new manifest and re-install the Outlook add-in.
