Adding a New Dashboard

Learn how to add a new dashboard with the new dashboards tool.

Users can now add multiple dashboards to view data from different angles. 

  1. Click Payments & Approvals in the main navigation bar and select Dashboards from the dropdown. 
  2. Click the green Add New Dashboard button to fill in the dashboard’s basic properties. 
  3. Enter a name.
  4. Select a dashboard type (Payments or Approvals).
  5. Choose the visibility of the dashboard. Public dashboards are visible to everyone in a foundation, whereas a private dashboard is only visible to the dashboard’s creator.
  6. Select an active code type by which to view the dashboard and select all or a subset of results.
  7. Select a code or code type by which to view allocations on the dashboard.
  8. Select whether to display budget information. Budget information can also be displayed on the dashboard when viewing the dashboard by the budget code type.
  9. Add additional criteria to further refine the data that will be included in the dashboard. This step is optional.
  10. Click Save to add the new dashboard and open it for viewing.
