Manually Add Workflows to Requests

Manually add a workflow to one request or to multiple requests in batch.

Workflows are available with the Pro and Enterprise subscriptions. 

Once a workflow template is created, the workflow can be added to requests. This can be done from a request record or in batch from a super search.

Only workflows with the request workflow type are available to add in batch.  

If a workflow template is configured to be automatically added to requests based on certain criteria, the workflow can still be manually added to requests as needed. 

Add a Workflow from the Request Record

  1. Navigate to the request record.
  2. Click the Workflows tab.
  3. Click Add New Workflow.

  4. Check the box for each workflow to add to this request, and then click Save.

    1. For a workflow type other than the request type, select the specific object to which this workflow relates (e.g. payment 1 of 2, a progress report or final report requirement).

Add Workflows in Batch from a Super Search

  1. Run a super search to generate a list of the relevant requests.
  2. Click Batch Edit.

  3. Check the box next to each relevant request.

  4. Click Action, select Add Workflow, and then click Go.

  5. Check the box for each workflow to add to this request, and then click Update.

After adding a workflow to a request, the workflow tasks can be edited as needed. Manage Workflows and Workflow Tasks contains details.
