🚀 Release Notes 5.2.10 – Flexible bank account configurations, Workflow auto-generated documents, and file previews!

Coming August 9th! This update brings greater flexibility in bank account configurations, streamlined workflows with auto-generated document templates, simplified grantee submitted file previews, and more. Let’s dive in!

What’s New?

💰 Flexible Bank Account Field Settings

Bank account settings are now managed in Admin Tools & Settings > Organization Settings. These settings, previously in the Grantee Portal, apply to all bank accounts added in GivingData AND the Grantee Portal.  Admins now have more flexibility to define optional fields to ensure each Organization’s Bank Account needs are met through these secure fields instead of resorting to a workaround. Bank Account fields can be customized for all Bank Account options: ACH, Wire, and Wire with Intermediary.

A new setting, “Max Bank Account Digits Allowed,” lets you customize the max number of digits permitted in bank account number fields.  This setting is especially useful for international funders who accept bank accounts with over 18 digits.

💡 Greater flexibility & autonomy to collect the bank account information you need within our secure Bank Account fields.

📄Autogenerate Documents from Workflow Tasks

Workflow Task Templates can now be configured to select Document Templates and Super Doc templates to be automatically added to the task and appropriate record when a task is added to a request or when a task is completed. Define which Documents or Super Docs to automatically add to the record and the task in the Workflow Task settings.

💡Streamline task setup by auto-generating consistent documents, such as award letters or staff reviews.

🛠️ Improvements

📊 Ability to export every chart in the system - Easily share visualizations with your team!

All charts throughout the system will now have a button to export the chart so you can re-use the visualization elsewhere. You will be able to print the chart and download as a PNG image, JPEG image, and SVG vector image.

👀View Portal Files in a new tab - No need to download portal submitted files!

PDF, images and HTML files submitted via a grantee portal intake form will now be viewed in a new tab instead of being downloaded. When viewing an intake form, clicking the link of the file will open the file in a new tab. Microsoft Office files will continue to download.

🐛 Notable Bug Fixes

Each release includes bug fixes to enhance stability and improve your experience. Here are some key fixes:

  • Inactive codes appearing in Grantee Portal: Inactive codes were still appearing in the Grantee Portal as selectable options within intake forms. This has been resolved.
  • Email Invite Link for Invited Application: The link to view the Invited Application on the email invitation was routing to the Grantee Portal homepage instead of the Invited Application. This has been resolved and the link brings Grantee Portal Users to the Application.
  • Documents Page View Filters: When filtering the View options by document type, users were unable to select document types that were further down the list and required scrolling to view. When attempting to select these document types, the list scrolled back up to the top of the list. This has been resolved and all document types can be selected for the view filter.
  • Unable to remove dates from Requirement/Payment/Requests: Users were unable to clear a date field and save. This has been resolved and date fields can be removed if the date is no longer relevant.
  • Workflow Task description numbering/bulleted lists: Tasks that have a numbered or bulleted list in the description field encounter an error in the numbering of the fourth indent. This has been resolved and all numbering is correct.
