Update on Microsoft's Rebranding - Azure Active Directory is Now Microsoft Entra ID

GivingData is aware of recent updates made by Microsoft that may influence how you engage with Microsoft services and our integrated solutions in our app. As of August 15, 2023, Microsoft has renamed Azure Active Directory to Microsoft Entra ID.

What's Changing?

The rebranding is part of Microsoft's more extensive effort to consolidate their identity and network access solutions under a single product family, known as Microsoft Entra.

Key Points:

  1. Continuity of Service: There will be no interruptions to your existing services. All configurations and integrations will continue to operate as they have been.

  2. Same Features, New Name: All the features you have been accustomed to using, such as Single Sign-On, will remain unchanged. They will now be part of the Microsoft Entra ID package.

Changes in the GivingData WebApp

You'll observe this shift within GivingData when logging in using Microsoft credentials. For example, the login interface will now reflect the new Microsoft Entra ID branding instead of Azure Active Directory.

Why Are We Telling You?

Although Microsoft is already informing its users about this change, we at GivingData believe it's essential for our clients to hear it from us as well. We have updated our internal documentation and adjusted our integration configurations to be in line with these changes.
