Grants Management staff can delete approved amendments with the permission “Delete Approved Amendments.”
The “Delete Approved Amendments” permission is available at all license levels. This permission will not be visible to users until GivingData enables it. Contact your CSM to have this permission turned on.
Grants Management staff can delete approved amendments with the permission “Delete Approved Amendments.” This permission must be paired with the corresponding permissions “Change Amount, Date, or Approval/Declination Note” and/or “Manage Grant Period” to delete Grant Amendment Types of: Approval Amount, Grant Period, or Approval Amount and Grant Period.

With the proper permission pairings, the Approved Amendment Modal now has the button “Delete Amendment,” which requires the user to type in “DELETE” to confirm the deletion. The Deletion Modal notifies the user that the Request's Approval Amount and/or Approval Date will be reverted to the pre-amendment values.
To delete Grant Amendment Types of Other, the new permission must be paired with “Approve/Decline Amendments of Amendment Type: Other.”
For the Amendment Type “Other,” no values on the Request Record will be reverted upon deletion. Deleted Amendments will be tracked in the Request’s Activity Stream and will include details on the type of amendment and the changes to pre-amendment values.
