Q: Which file types are accepted in the Grantee Portal?

A: The file types outlined below are supported in both the Grantee Portal and the internal GivingData site:

  • Program Extensions: 
    •  ".pdf", ".ai", ".psd", ".xls", ".xlsx", ".ppt", ".pptx", ".doc", ".docx", ".dot", ".dotx", ".potx", ".xlt", ".xltx", ".xlr",".odp", ".ods", ".odt", ".pbix",".eml", ".msg"
  • Text Extensions:
    • ".csv", ".rtf", ".txt", ".html", ".htm", ".pdf", ".log", ".tex"
  • Audio/Video Extensions:

Q: What is the maximum file size that can be uploaded to the Grantee Portal?

A: The maximum file size for upload is 20MB. The limit is 1MB for Grantee Portal profile pictures.

 

Q: Which characters are not accepted in the file name of documents uploaded to the Grantee Portal?

Q: What are the recommended specifications for a foundation’s logo in the Grantee Portal?

A: The accepted file types are “.jpg”, “.jpeg”, “.png”, and “.gif”. The recommended image width is 600 pixels. The foundation’s logo can be uploaded in Settings > System & Setup > Logo & Branding. The uploaded image will be visible both in the Grantee Portal and the internal GivingData site. 

 

Q: What are the recommended specifications for an unsolicited application’s campaign logo image?

A: The accepted file types are “.jpeg”, “.jpg”, “.png”, “.gif”, “.tif”, “.tiff”, “.bmp”, and “.svg”. The recommended size is less than 5MB. To set an unsolicited application’s campaign logo image, navigate to Settings > Grantee Portal and select the appropriate campaign. Then, select Edit Campaign Content > Add Campaign Logo Image.

 

Q: What are the recommended specifications for image banners within specific pages of an intake form?

A: The accepted file types are “.jpeg”, “.jpg”, “.png”, “.gif”, “.tif”, “.tiff”, “.bmp”, and “.svg”. The recommended image size is less than 20MB. To set an image banner within a specific page of an intake form, toggle into Edit mode and click the widget above the Page Title. After uploading the image, a best practice is to toggle into Preview mode to see what the uploaded image will look like in the Portal.

User Permissions Tip: Users with “Manage Grantee Portal Intake Forms” permission can add file upload fields and write help text in intake forms. Users with “Manage Logo & Branding” permission can edit the foundation’s logo.
