Build and assign intake forms, such as applications and reports, which applicants or grantees can submit through the grantee portal.
Through your GivingData grantee portal, applicants and grantees can submit applications, reports, or other forms. You can then import the data from these forms into the corresponding records in your GivingData site.
The forms that grantee portal users submit through the portal are referred to as intake forms, and multiple types of intake forms are available to build depending upon the intended purpose.
Grantee Portal Setup
Settings for the grantee portal can be configured in Admin Tools & Settings. This includes basic settings, such as the name to display on the portal and the default portal registration email content. This also includes settings involved with building grantee portal intake forms, such as managing the codes from which grantee portal users can select when completing certain form fields.

Invited Application Intake Forms
Invited application intake forms are used when inviting an organization to submit an application in the grantee portal. Once the form is built, it can be added to a request in your GivingData site and assigned to one or more grantee portal users for the organization. The assigned grantee portal users then log into the portal and submit the application form.

Unsolicited Application Intake Forms
Unsolicited application intake forms are used to collect uninvited applications. After connecting an unsolicited application intake form to a campaign, the campaign URL can be shared out. Anyone with the campaign URL can then submit an application. An eligibility quiz can be created as part of the unsolicited application intake form to ensure that only organizations meeting specified eligibility criteria can submit the full application.

Report and Grantee Submission Intake Forms
Report and grantee submission intake forms are used to collect information as part of a request requirement, either related to the request overall or to a specific payment. Once these forms are built, they can be added to a request requirement in your GivingData site and assigned to one or grantee portal users for the organization. The assigned grantee portal users then log into the portal and submit the form.
Organization and Active Grant Intake Forms
Organization and active grant intake forms are also referred to as grantee-initiated forms. These forms can be made available in the grantee portal for use by grantees as needed. For example, these forms can be used to allow grantees to request a grant amendment, submit contact information updates, or provide an off-cycle report.
Build a Grantee Portal Intake Form
The first step before using any intake form in your GivingData site is to build the desired content on the form. This content could be questions the grantee will answer, fields through which they will upload files, etc. While the specific type of content to build will vary between types of intake forms, the steps to build an intake form are similar across each type.
For invited application intake forms, report intake forms, and grantee submission intake forms, document publishing can also be configured. This allows an existing document from a GivingData record to be attached to a field on the intake form. The grantee portal user can then download the document, make any necessary edits, and re-upload the document.
If available with your GivingData subscription, bank account information for organizations can also be collected through intake forms.
